First Contact HR (formerly HR First Contact) offers employee
substance-abuse testing, including oral fluid, urine, hair, and breath
alcohol testing. First Contact HR is equipped to meet a wide range of
workplace substance-abuse testing needs, whether for pre-employment, random,
post accident, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty, follow-up, or DOT.
First Contact HR maintains strategic relationships all the
major drug testing clinics nationwide providing its clients access to one of
the largest networks available. As a result, First Contact HR can zip code
match the company location(s) and applicant/employee addresses with the
closest, most convenient sites available. First Contact HR uses only SAMSHA/NIDA
certified and DOT-compliant laboratories. Completed results are available
and communicated to clients within 1 to 24 hours for negative results and 24
to 72 hours for positive results. All drug testing include a review and
donor interview by a Medical Review Officer (MRO). Our technology allows us
to combine drug testing and background screening results in a single report.
The designated client representatives receive an email to notify them that a
report is available on our secure web site for them to access. This
eliminates the need for clients to keep checking the web site for completed
results. We take the liberty to proactively communicate the results. Once a
client logs into our secure web portal, they are able to view, print or retain
the substance abuse report on our site for access 24/7. |

First Contact HR offers random drug and alcohol testing
program management services. We administer the entire process from employee
selection to scheduling clinic visitation. Clients simply provide us with
the random workforce pool for testing and we generate the names of those
selected, including alternates based on the desired percentage to be tested.
We notify clients of those to be tested through email or fax. These services
are often provided at no additional charge to clients who take advantage of
other services.
Reduce your Cost of Doing Business
by implementing a
certified drug-free workplace program. Many states provide discounts on
Worker’s Compensation insurance to organizations with a certified drug-free
workplace program in place. For instance, our partnership with drug-free PA
(http://www.drugfreepa.org/index.asp)
enables our Pennsylvania-based clients to receive assistance in creating a
customized and economical program to reduce worker’s compensation insurance
cost. For organizations without a policy in place or have a need for a
program audit, contact us directly for assistance in creating a drug-free
workplace policy program. |
