LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING

Live Scan fingerprinting is an ink-less form of electronic fingerprinting that captures fingerprints in a digitized format for transmission to a state repository such as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Fingerprints were previously taken by applying ink to each finger and then rolling each finger on a fingerprint card.

Process

The Live Scan fingerprinting process pertains to capturing your fingerprints electronically using proprietary live scan technology

Step 1

Once First Contact HR identifies the reason you need to make a fingerprinting appointment, your date and time is scheduled at one of our convenient locations.

Step 2

Our skilled Fingerprint Technician will meet with you and capture your fingerprints using our live scan technology.

Step 3

The digital fingerprint images are transmitted to appropriate state agencies, programs, or industries, for instance to FINRA or FDLE.
